The Wedding and Event Planning Manager's primary focus is servicing Wedding and Social bookings, along with one-day Meetings, Holiday Parties and other events as assigned. This position acts as the liaison between Wedding Planners, Brides, Grooms, their families, and the hotel staff. Responsibilities include: administering the Sales agreement, detailing all Food, Beverage and A/V needs, managing room blocks and pick up, billing instructions and final review, facilitating communication before, during and post event with pertinent hotel staff to ensure a high level of service and ensuring customer expectations are consistently exceeded. The Wedding and Event Planning Manager is the on-site contact and is responsible for the smooth execution of all wedding, social and other events as assigned.
The Wedding and Event Planning Manager also hosts hotel tours, maintains strong customer relationships, participates in and may lead event meetings, and other staff meetings, and works as a team member with the sales and event staff. The manager also works closely with an assigned Administrative Assistant and other support staff.
Wage Information: The salary range for this position is $65,480 to $86,600.The starting salary for this position will be between $65,500-$72,800. Decisions regarding individual salaries will be based on a number of factors, including experience, qualifications and education.
