The
Sr. Field Scientific Engineer is responsible providing technical pre- and post-sale support for the integration of Pall technologies into customer processes. This position is a strong Voice of Customer for internal Pall groups. This Sr. Field Scientist must be able to give technical direction to the regional team and be a thought leader for one or more Pall technologies.
This position is part of the Global Services Department and will be located in the US as a
remote position, to work with oil & gas and refinery customers .
In this role, you will have the opportunity to: - Work with Pall filtration & separation technologies and create process solutions.
- Conduct feasibility assessments, technical consultations, training, and pilot trials at customer sites.
- Maintain close customer contact during projects. This will involve travel to customer sites for technical meetings, perform testing and giving technical presentations.
- Technical consultation involving scale up/scale down testing plans and data review, sizing and compatibility recommendations, and troubleshooting customer technical issues and field investigations.
- Support business growth by promoting Pall filtration & separation technologies, generating new leads (business opportunities) at customer sites that can be converted to orders by the sales team.
The essential requirements of the job include: - Mechanical, Process or Chemical Engineering degree is required.
- 5+ years' relevant experience in an Oil & Gas or Refinery environment .
- This position is part of the Global Services Department and will be located in the Houston, TX as a remote position.
- Ability to travel 70% of time, both domestic & internationally.
(Primarily in the US, occasionally to Canada and Latin America.)
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: - Electrical / instrumentation / mechanical / process discipline
- Analytical / Laboratory Testing
- Field work experience is a huge plus!
