Job Description

Position: Finance Internship for Students - Summer 2025 (full-time)
Location: Columbus, Ohio
Pay Range: $19 - $22 per hour

The Superior Group is looking for highly motivated and energetic students to participate in the TSG Co-Op or internship program during the Summer 2025 term (May - August). We rely on our interns to provide support to our teams on critical projects while fostering a culture of continuous learning and inclusion as you bring fresh ideas to the table.

Under the guidance of our Finance team, you'll work alongside Finance Managers and the Director of Finance, gaining exposure to project finance and financial planning & analysis (FP&A), financial reporting, and construction lifecycles. We also host in-house workshops to help you develop workplace and finance-specific skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Audit the set-up of new project work in the accounting system
• Assist in preparing the monthly Cost Projection templates with project managers
• Assist the FP&A team with the reconciliation of labor and non-labor expenses to budgets
• Support the project team by assembling backup for pay applications
• Assist the Project Finance and FP&A teams with various ad hoc requests.

• You're organized, great at prioritization, and have a strong attention to detail
• You're able to exercise confidentiality and discretion with sensitive information

Education

• Required: You must be currently enrolled at an accredited college or university pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, or Operations
