Our AAHA accredited veterinary hospital, located in the picturesque mountain town of Lakeside, Arizona, is seeking a motivated, people-oriented veterinary assistant to complete our team.
Hiking, fishing, skiing/boarding and other outdoor activities are a half hour away. The hospital is a busy, privately owned, two doctor practice. Our clientele wants the best and this allows us to practice the highest quality medicine in a caring, professional atmosphere.
We are offering fulfilling part-time positions for a friendly, motivated and animal loving individual. You will act as the extra eyes, ears, and hands for the veterinarian to ensure the best quality of pet and client care.
Some responsibilities include restraint, administration of medications and vaccinations, educating clients, data entry with paperless medical record system, care of boarding patients, and assisting the health-care team in all aspects of client and pet care. Night and weekend duties required.
If you don’t have experience, this is a great opportunity to be trained for an entry level position and learn proper pet care and medical techniques. If you do have experience, all the better.
