ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Crescent City, California.

\n\nJob Details:
\n• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
\n• BSN degree required
\n• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS (all must be AHA certified)
\n• California RN license required at time of submission
\n• Epic charting system experience preferred
\n• Patient ratio: 2:1 during days and nights
\n• Every other weekend requirement
\n• On call/call off based on census
\n• 12-hour orientation provided
\n• Possibility to float to ER or Med/Surg (last resort for Med/Surg)
\n• Must be comfortable with nurse/patient ratios 1:4-5 when floating to ER
\n• Care for patients of all age groups: adolescents, adults, pediatrics, geriatrics
\n• Daily census: 4-6 patients
\n• Unit has 9 rooms and 6 beds
\n• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of contract signing
\n• 50-mile travel requirement from permanent residence
\n• Skills include: arterial line management, ventilator management, central line care, blood product administration, IV drip titration, chest tube assistance, and various critical care procedures
\n• Modules completed during orientation through e-learning system

The facility provides critical care services for a diverse patient population and maintains high standards for nursing care with appropriate staffing ratios and comprehensive orientation programs.
