Summary: The Server System Administrator with some supervision assumes responsibility and accountability for acquiring, configuring and maintaining the following: development, test and production servers (or server infrastructure). Provides support for the server infrastructure including after-hours support to ensure maximum performance and availability to our clients. Provides Tier 3 support for Information Services while, consistently providing excellent service to all customers. As well as general administration of Enterprise Wide: Remote access (including Citrix), Microsoft Windows and VMware Operating Systems, Active Directory, messaging, and Epic client systems. Education: Minimum requirement of an Associate's degree in Computer Science or other related field; or equivalent knowledge and skills obtained through 4 years additional experience in a comparable job. Licensure/Certification: Industry-recognized applicable certification at time of hire or must obtain within 12 months after hire. Experience: 3 years experience in a comparable job. • Experience managing Citrix environments (e.g., Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops). • Proficiency with VMware for virtualization. • Strong knowledge of Active Directory, including DNS, DHCP, and GPO management. • Familiarity with server hardware, including HPE, Dell, and Cisco UCS systems. • Familiarity with SQL Server database maintenance and performance tuning. • Experience administering Office 365 (Exchange, Teams, and SharePoint).
