Job Description
POSITION AVAILABLE: Pipe and/or Roadwork Foreman - Union
Foreman are responsible to lead, manage, train and mentor project crew. They are to prioritize and delegate responsibilities and interact with the general contractor and/or customer to ensure the job(s) are completed efficiently, accurately and on time. They are expected to work side by side with the laborers, therefore they must maintain the capability to manually complete any activity. Female candidates encouraged.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Understand and comply with all company safety policies and procedures
Inspect company equipment to ensure they are maintained in good condition
Schedule and coordinate daily needs associated with all phases of project activities
Attend safety trainings and meetings
Ensure regulatory requirements are maintained
Review and approve all material delivery documents
Must be able to communicate with equipment operators
Must be able to locate utilities with hand tools
Must be able to handle, fit, and install drainage, sewer, water pipe and fittings
Must understand grading and compacting procedures
Must be able to set and utilize pipe and/or rotary lasers
Must be able to perform strenuous work in varying weather conditions
Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
Must be a team player with good interpersonal skills, dedication, hard working, good verbal and written communication skills
