Job Description
Potter Handy is a rapidly expanding plaintiff-side mass torts law firm with years of experience litigating fire and employment mass torts and consumer class actions. We have expanded into data breach mass torts, and we are looking for a licensed attorney with an impressive research and writing background to handle our complex briefing needs. Must be licensed in Arizona and preferably only in Arizona.
Our firm culture has been telecommute/remote friendly for more than 15 years, providing flexibility to our 20+ attorneys working throughout the country. This is a work-from-anywhere attorney position. You will be involved in research and drafting from complaint to trial in both state and federal courts and private arbitration.
This is a full-time position with the following requirements:
- Member in good standing with the AZ state bar
- Data breach and/or mass tort litigation experience preferred but not required. Three years post-law school legal research and drafting experience preferred but not required. Newly barred attorneys with an excellent academic resume and demonstrated exceptional research and writing experience will be considered.
- Exhibit an attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively with other attorneys and staff
- Ability to operate a home computer at a level appropriate for working from home: use of Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat, and an internet connection appropriate for use of Zoom and other telecommuting software.
Location: Work from home
Compensation: Salary $80,000/yr+ DOE, bonuses, firm contribution to 401(k).
