Job Description
American Heritage Schools is seeking a highly motivated and qualified Part-Time Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach to join our Athletics Department. This is a stipend position that plays a crucial role in developing our student-athletes across various sports.
Key ResponsibilitiesAssist the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach in designing, implementing, and supervising comprehensive training programs for all school athletic teams.
Provide expert coaching and instruction on proper lifting techniques, movement patterns, and conditioning protocols to maximize performance and minimize the risk of injury.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized weight room environment.
Ensure all student-athletes adhere to safety policies and procedures during training sessions.
Contribute to the positive culture of the Athletics Department and serve as a role model for student-athletes.
Monday through Friday: 3:30 P.M. – 6:30 P.M.
Candidates must meet the following criteria to be considered:
Certification: Possess one of the following credentials:
National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA): Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS®)
Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association (CSCCa): Strength and Conditioning Coach Certified (SCCC®)
Experience: A minimum of one (1) year of prior strength and conditioning coaching experience.
Ideal candidates will also possess the following certifications or experience:
USA Weightlifting (USAW) Certification.
USA Track & Field (USATF) Certification.
Experience with and understanding of Sports Science applications in athlete monitoring and program design.
