Bartender

Reports to: Clubhouse Manager, Food and Beverage Manager, Dining Room Manager

As a bartender at a private country club in Towson, Maryland, your main responsibility is to provide exceptional service to club members and guests while working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Your duties may include:

1. Prepare and serve drinks: Should be knowledgeable in preparing various types of drinks such as cocktails, beers, wines, and other alcoholic beverages.
2. Engage with members and guests: Should be friendly and engaging, making members and guests feel welcome and comfortable.
3. Manage bar inventory: You will be responsible for managing inventory, ensuring that the bar is stocked with all necessary supplies, and ordering new items as needed.
4. Maintain cleanliness: Keep the bar and surrounding areas clean and organized, ensuring that all equipment is clean and in good working order.
5. Adhere to state and federal laws: Ensure that all alcoholic beverages are served within the guidelines of state and federal laws.
6. Provide excellent customer service: Offer exceptional customer service, including addressing members' complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
7. Assist with events: You may be required to assist with events held at the club, including setting up and breaking down the bar area, serving drinks and ensuring that guests have an enjoyable experience.

Qualification:

• Previous experience as a bartender in a similar environment is preferred.
• Must be knowledgeable in preparing various types of drinks such as cocktails, beers, wines, and other alcoholic beverages.
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential.
• A strong work ethic and a positive attitude are essential.

Bartender's compensation will be based on a competitive hourly rate. We offer free meals for every shift, health insurance benefits, as well as a vacation and sick package for full time employees.
