Who We’re Looking For

We are looking for an versatile and driven remote HR Consultant to join our dynamic and growing team. To succeed in this role, you are mission-aligned, resilient and relentless in achieving goals, as we move at a start-up-feel speed, not a traditional corp. (slower) speed to ensure stellar client service. You will also enjoy being part of a close-knit team, but able to work independently, and believe that the best HR professionals are fantastic with details and skilled at managing multiple, varied projects.  

You will support the functional areas of Human Resources for multiple clients including, but not limited to: talent acquisition, payroll processing, HR administration, maintain personnel records, employee relations, job evaluation, compensation management, benefits administration, organizational development, workers compensation, safety, training, EEO, immigration, and special projects as assigned.

Payroll Management

What your role at ADDA would look like:

  • Process weekly, bi-weekly and/or semi-monthly payrolls, ensuring accuracy and adherence to federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Audit payroll data to verify employee hours, deductions, and benefits are accurately reflected.
  • Resolve payroll discrepancies by investigating and correcting errors, ensuring proper documentation.


HR Operations

  • Assist with day to day HR administrative tasks, including but not limited to: benefit administration, HRIS/system administration, ad hoc reporting, etc.
  • Draft/revise various documents, such as employee handbooks, policies, procedures, job descriptions, etc.
  • Perform research pertaining to legalities, state and federal requirements, etc. as needed.
  • Perform special projects as requested, such as payroll audits, benefit audits, census building/analysis, comp analysis, etc.
  • Address basic employee relations issues, referring more complex issues to the HR Manager.


Talent Acquisition

  • Source candidates, review applicants, phone interviews across various industries.
  • Write job descriptions to attract the right candidates to the roles.
  • Perform Comp Analysis as needed to ensure competitive comp packages.


Compliance And Reporting

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, including EEO, FMLA, ADA, and other relevant regulations.
  • Prepare various payroll, HR, benefit, etc. reports as requested.


HR Systems Management

  • Maintain and optimize HRIS and payroll systems, ensuring data accuracy and security.
  • Support HR technology upgrades and system enhancements.


Experience And Skills Needed

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of HR generalist experience, payroll experience as well preferred.
  • Experience in a consulting firm or professional services environment preferred.
  • Proficient in payroll software and HRIS systems.
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle confidential information.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills with a solutions-oriented approach.
  • Professional HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) is advantageous.
  • Collaborative team member who is flexible and eager to contribute to various tasks as needed.
