Job Title: Hardware Test Engineer

Location: Raleigh, NC (3 days per week onsite)

Position: Contract to hire (C2C NOT AVAILABLE)

Responsibilities: As a Hardware Test Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of hardware and software products. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Collaborating with multiple agile teams to understand business requirements and technical specifications for different applications.
2. Analyzing, designing, implementing, and maintaining test cases for each application.
3. Writing and executing new and existing test cases, focusing on application and its dependencies.
4. Reviewing test execution results, documenting defects, and reporting them to agile project teams for resolution.
5. Keeping up to date with market trends and changes in technology to continuously improve our QA processes.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications:

1. Minimum of 3 years of experience in analyzing, designing, implementing, and maintaining QA processes for Hardware.
2. Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle methodology.
3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
4. Hands-on testing experience in integration, user interface, smoke, regression, and user acceptance testing.
5. QA experience in performing functional and regression testing.
6. Ability to write test case plans, test cases, traceability matrices, and test reports for coverage and test results.
7. Understanding of SIPP protocol, VOIP Protocol, and WIFI Protocol.
8. Audio/Video application testing experience is a plus.
9. Knowledge of application/system integration architecture and development processes is preferred.
10. Experience testing medical devices is highly desired.
