Carpenter Qualifications:

• Ability to maintain cooperative relationships with those contacted in the course of work activities.
• Skill in reading, writing, and math
• Skill in the use of carpentry and basic power and hand tools
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Skill in interpersonal communication.
• Knowledge of architectural applications.
• Methods and techniques of storing equipment, materials, and supplies.
• Principles and procedures of record keeping.
• Ability to prepare labor and material estimates, ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.

Carpenter Helper Qualifications:

• Skill in reading, writing, and math.
• Skill in the use of carpentry and basic power and hand tools.
• Ability to learn how to read blueprints or willingness to learn how to read blueprints and drawings.
• Develop skill in interpersonal communication.
• Continue developing knowledge of architectural applications.

Qualifications:

• 6+ months’ relevant experience
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
• Reliable transportation
