So, if you’re wondering where I’ve been since Mason’s 1st birthday party, you don’t have to look far. I’m that crumpled mound of bruised flesh and sore bones laying next to seven bags of used wrapping paper in the garage, collected and neglected from January. Welcome to Dad or Alive!
For those of you who haven't visited before, get the hell inside and take a look around! For the loyal followers that have stayed since the beginning, THANK YOU for continuing to come back.
I've been working hard to make this destination easier to navigate. Over the last 5 1/2 years, I've written a lot (My Stories, Dad's In Deep Sh!t, Ava Full of Grace) about my transition from executive to full-time stay-at-home dad for 6 year-old Ava, 4 year-old Charlie and 20 month-old Mason. I've also shared the humor of other moms and dads (Other People's Parents) and look forward to many more. New additions to the site include product reviews (For What It's Worth), some of my sometimes (sometimes not) kid-friendly recipes (Eat Your Heart Out) from myself and foodie friends, as well as interviews (Dad's In The Mix) with some very notable fathers.
Please feel free to connect with me via Facebook and Twitter, or get to know me and my crew by reading the 'Bio' page. You can view my articles at The Huffington Post, TODAY.com/Parents or inquire about booking my comedic lecture for your blog or parenting conference. You'll probably also notice that I've opened up some advertising space. I promise it won't become invasive and all of the companies provide products or services that we've personally used and enjoyed in the past, so click to find out more...
If you like anything you've read in here, take a chance and buy my first book, a comedic memoir that I recently wrote for Penguin Publishing. Simply click on the picture to buy!
My immediate goal is to continue sharing this incredible journey of fatherhood with you. They may take my sanity, but they won't take my humor...
Thanks for visiting!
